A Geek Drinking Stone Levitation Ale

by Gservo on July 2, 2009

I am not going to talk about this beer like I tasted it for a review. I won’t talk about the great reddish amber color ale that was placed in front of me at the Gaslight Brewery in a regular pint glass. I won’t talk about the immense aroma that came off the glass as I decided to take picture of the ale to adjust some settings on my camera. I won’t talk about the maltiness of the beer or the fantastic hoppyness of Stone Levitation Ale, a Red Ale from Stone Brewing Company.
I just really enjoyed this beer. It was a nice peaceful moment, something I have needed lately and all the little nuances of this beer had to offer made it even more satisfying. The low alcohol of this ale was actually pleasant. The beer was not the most amazing, jaw-dropping beer in the world, but it had fantastic comic book drinkability. It is a fine beer for New Comics day.
