  1. It will be interesting to see how the Bud Ale tastes. I have read that the reason that all beer from the big breweries tastes the same is because they use the same yeast strains for every beer. Obviously they will have to use a different yeast strain for an ale, so maybe it won’t taste like watered down urine like their pilsners.

  2. Very concerned. The typical American has no real idea of what a true craft beer is. They have been hit with the term in passing, and think they might know (can anyone say Shock Top??!), but this will definately hurt the “training” in progress. I’m afraid that it might actually taste good. Face it, we’ve all tried many craft brews that have disappointed. They have serious money behind them to fix their problems and bring in the right people who will get them back on track. As a beer sales rep for very micro, craft and specialty imports, I see myself losing draft lines.
