A beer symphony

Check out this great video of a symphony orchestra playing the VB (Victoria Bitter, made by Foster’s in Australia) theme on VB beer bottles.

I have a degree in Orchestral Performance so I can say with confidence that the musicians are not actually playing bottles and creating that sound. String players would never stoop to the level of wind players. 🙂 On the other hand, for the percussionists it would just be another day at work. But seriously, the commercial is clever and extremely well done. Extra kudos to them for using real musicians. Nothing irks me more than seeing non-musicians play musicians in commercials, TV, movies, etc. If I lived in Australia, I’d run out and by a six-pack of VB right now!
